What is truly Scandinavian? From the first comment: "Apparently squandering your cultural inheritance through self-deprecating self-flagellation." That, and self-righteousness, which is of course bottomless and ends up in commercials like the controversial one at the link.
There's Dala horses. Luciafest. Volvos and Saabs. ABBA. Plattar pans.
And a bunch of science and engineering stuff.
What is truly Scandinavian? Lutefisk. Well, at least truly Norwegian and Minnesotan.
