Science

I ran across the "Harvard Law of Animal Behavior"

Under Precisely Controlled Experimental Conditions, A Test Animal Will Behave As It Damn Well Pleases.

This reminded me of my psychologist friend David Vogel's advice years ago: "Don't use cats.  Cats will screw up your data."

I'm not sure where he got the story, but Leinster wrote briefly of the chimp and the psychologist. Except that it seems to be his daughter's invention.

My cat did something yesterday that was totally unexpected: She allowed some medication down her throat without causing major injuries.
