Spam and Word Verification

Since shutting off the difficult captcha word verification system on the comments, I have been getting a ton of spam, much of it Russian.  Fortunately, with 3400 posts it has all been buried in old things that no one reads anymore.

    Maybe you could try those with "add the numbers/do the arithmetic".

    Does blogger allow you to turn off comments on old posts? Or set comments to be turned off after... say, 45 days?
