I would like to say I was that prescient, lelia, but my quote was meant as what I thought Sarah Palin should do, not what whe would do.Take off the armor designed for McCain by his handlers and PR people; choose weapons she is familiar with.
"Little David" did pretty well with those stones.I've read comments from infantry that body armor is too heavy and restricts motion. As Sundance said in the movie, he had to be able to move to shoot and hit the target--standing still and taking careful aim just didn't work for him. Not his style.
