Post 1400 - Yeah, That's Really Funny

On the way back from the Denver convention, National Chairman of the DNC Don Fowler comments on possible Hurricane Hannah hitting Florida. Hint: His first thought is how it's going to play politically.

Michael Moore also believes "God's on our side". So glad they care more about the "na na-na na na! you lose!" kind of pettiness than people's lives.

They say the flooding may be worse in New Orleans than it was for Katrina. I know it's a city of history and holds a very special place in many people's hearts, but I think it's time we start considering our options. I suggest we move the people up to the mountains, build a commemorative museum somewhere safe, and turn the city into rice and/or cranberry fields. If that doesn't pass, perhaps at least considering an elevated city with waterways in a Venice-like design might be the next best thing. It's time to start thinking outside the box people!

The lesson here is that the internet has eyes and ears everywhere. While this presents and amusing 'gotcha' moment for the Right, I can imagine the day when thought crimes can be turned into the government for prosecution with the very same technology. What will happen to freedom of expression if it becomes second nature to assume everything one says is being recorded?

I heard on the news this morning that he's already apologized.

Well of course, he has to appologize. But it certainly doesn't mean that he's sorry.
