It's really refreshing to see somebody is playing it down the middle in these politically divided times. So rare! I will start sharing your posts with family and friends, none of whom are speaking to me nowadays because I dare to put in a good word for you know who -- but only because I favor trade and immigration reform, and because beggars can't be choosers. I still consider myself a liberal, 1950's style.

Anyway, I notice something that I guess I had forgotten about you, that you post a lot on the Bible, a book I also care a lot about even though I know very little about it. And while I must confess to you that I cannot honestly consider myself a practicing Christian in this modern world we live in today I do nevertheless embrace the idea that Jesus was the Christ for reasons you will see. I also embrace the concept of the fall of man and of original sin, and the figure of Abraham as a pivotal figure in world history. All in my own sect-of-one post-Christian fashion.

Which is why I thought I would share the only three papers I have written over my lifetime on matters of Biblical interpretation if only because they are different in that they do not necessarily require or imply a belief in the existence of God in order to be fully appreciated. Which is not to say I am an unbeliever except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Are tortured agnostics allowed in the Kingdom of God. Anyway below are links to my total output on the subject: one written in middle age (on Abraham) and two in my old age -- on the Fall and the second coming -- which I thank God I somehow was able to get down on paper. Of course I only send them to you in the hopes of eliciting your honest opinion, reaction, criticism, rejection, embrace, or whatever you can find it in yourself to say. Anything to get a reading!

1. The Fall of Man: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10q-cx2v05UnAsHb9BaRBZqYtPljiMZ52h6UxvHj0duA/edit?usp=sharing

2.
